Caeleb Dressel let all his emotions out after finally winning an individual Olympic gold medal thanks to an NBC interview featuring his wife, Meghan.

The former Florida Gator and Clay High School grad won the 100-meter freestyle final Wednesday night at the Tokyo Olympics. It was his fourth gold medal overall and his second in Tokyo, but his previous three all came as part of a relay team.

It was already an exciting night for Dressel before his race, as he witnessed fellow Gator Bobby Finke win a startling gold medal in the 800 free from the warmup pool.

After his race, Dressel was clearly caught up in the moment in his interview with Michele Tafoya.

Tafoya then turned it over to Dressel's watch party, where he got to hear his wife and parents congratulate him on his accomplishment.

His family was extremely excited during the race, as well.

Dressel is far from done: He takes part in three more qualifying heats Thursday.
